In 2021 Imara is expanding opportunities to partner with communities on a local, national  and global level. This includes providing resources, information, education and support to community-based organizations (CBOs) and patients to meet their short term needs while also supporting current and future clinical study participants:

  • Increased Real Impact grant funding to support nonprofit, community-based organizations serving patients and families impacted by sickle cell disease (SCD) and beta-thalassemia.
  • Access to clinical trial information.
  • Education about supportive resources for clinical trial participation.
  • Increased sponsorships and event participation.

We look forward to continuing to build upon the success of the Real Impact program, including broadening our partnerships with the patient community this year and each year going forward.
